General Info
The BioSpec® 94/30 scanner is designed for the emerging market of preclinical and molecular MR imaging and MRI research. State-of-the-art MRI CryoProbe™ technology combined with ultra high field (9.4T) USR magnets deliver high spatial resolution in-vivo, thus enabling researchers to come closer to the molecular and cellular level research they desire. Thanks to its innovative modular concept, virtually any small animal MR imaging application in life science, biomedical and preclinical research can be conducted. Whatever your application is, our Bruker Biospec 94/30 scanner will deliver the optimum solution and equip you perfectly for the most demanding tasks and challenges.
The Bruker Biospec 94/30 system is a fully shielded, superconducting wide-bore magnet that is nitrogen free and super cooled via a liquid helium reservoir. The MRI suite was specifically built to house this magnet and is actively shielded from stray radio frequencies to allow for more precise imaging and a higher signal-to-noise ratio. It uses a state-of-the-art integrated rail system with water warmed exam beds to allow for homothermic continuity throughout the exam process.
SAIL is also equipped with the state-of-art MRI imaging RF coils, including a 1H mouse-head-only Cryogenic RF coil (CryoProbe™). Compared to the standard room temperature coils, CryoProbe™ is designed for boosted signal sensitivity with proven factor at ~3 for in vivo brain imaging. Higher spatial resolution, better scan quality or shorter scan time can be achieved.
SAIL is capable to provide optimized multimodality imaging protocols and tailored processing tools for small animal MRI/S research at 9.4T.
Here are some highlights of our system:
